Our Team

Rev. Dr. Dennis Ashley is the Senior Pastor of Harmony Ministries, which includes Harmony Baptist Church and Harmony Christian School, as well as other ministries.

Dennis grew up in a family of six children in the small upstate New York town of Afton. Growing up in the context of a small town, large family, and a strong church community, Dennis learned to highly value faith, family and friends—values that are at the heart of his life to this day.

Dennis is a 1984 graduate of Cairn University in Langhorne, Pennsylvania (Bachelor of Science in Bible), a 1995 graduate of Bethel Seminary in Dresher, Pennsylvania (Master of Divinity) and a 2010 graduate of Palmer Theological Seminary in St. Davids, Pennsylvania (Doctor of Ministry in Marriage & Family). Over his 40+ year career in ministry, he has served as youth pastor in the Philadelphia and northern New Jersey area, and as pastor at four churches in the Hudson Valley, and one church in northern Maine. He has been a Bible teacher in four Christian schools, including Harmony Christian School.

Dennis is a veteran of the United States Army, serving with distinction in the Berlin Brigade during the historic years before, during, and after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Dennis also serves on the Board of Directors for the Montrose Bible Conference in Montrose, PA. and as a member of the Board of the Tri-County Community Partnership in the Hudson Valley region of New York State. He has served as a Board Member for the Putnam House: A Place for Seniors in Houlton, Maine, and as an advisor to the Board of Directors at Baptist Park, a Christian camping ministry in Mapleton, Maine.

Dennis and his wife Kelly have three sons, five grandsons, and, at last, a granddaughter!

Pastor Ben has been a lifelong member of Harmony Ministries and a lifelong resident of the area. He retired after a 34-year career in the New York State Department of Corrections where he was a Sergeant, Weapons training officer and instructor. After retiring he had plans to move to Florida, but God had other plans. He returned to school to receive a bachelors degree from Grand Canyon University in biblical studies with concentration in worship. He has been part of the worship team at Harmony since its inception and is still very much a part of it today. Pastor Ben has been married to his wife Linda (who he met at a college and career Bible study) for 37 years. They have three children, Chelsea, Michael, and Kaitlin, and one grandson Jackson. Linda is a physical therapist assistant at a school for children with developmental disabilities and has an incredible heart for God.

Pastor Ben and Linda enjoy traveling especially with their little dog Gemma or as she is commonly referred to “the little g”. They enjoy Kayaking ,playing golf and just spending time together on their boat. God has set Pastor Ben and Linda on a new journey, and they are both looking forward to see where He will lead, and are excited to be part of the Harmony family.

Jodi has been a member of Harmony Ministries since 2002. She has volunteered in children’s ministries as a Sunday school teacher, Awana teacher, Wednesday night youth group MS girls teacher, and has been involved with many church and school activities since she started attending Harmony Ministries. She worked for Harmony Christian School as a secretary from 2006 – 2016. Jodi became the Administrative Assistant at Harmony Baptist Church in 2016. In October 2022 she added Director of Children’s Ministries to her job description.

Jodi has been married to her husband Mark since 1994. Mark is a life long member of Harmony Ministries. They have three children and three grandchildren. Mark and Jodi’s greatest joy is spending time with their family. They like to travel to Disney and enjoy taking cruises to see different countries.

Working with the kids in nursery through 5th grade has been a highlight for Jodi. She loves to see the children come to church and weekday activities excited to learn.
